1. How to reach SRM Kattankulathur campus:
By Train
For participants coming from other states in India by train, they should get down at the Chennai Central Station, come out and cross the high road through the pedestrian subway and reach PARK suburban metro rail station. Two destination trains are available from Park suburban metro rail station - to (i) Tambaram (ii) Chengalpattu.
(i) If you take the train to Tambaram, then get down at Tambaram and reach the local bus stand there. Take T60,T60 LSS, M500,M118,500 bus and get down at VPT bus stop or Potheri stop. It is a 20 minute travel from Tambaram to SRM University. (Total Travel time from Chennai Central Railway Station will be around One Hour).
(ii) If you take the train to Chengalpattu, you can get down at Potheri railway station. SRM University (Main campus) is just opposite to the Potheri railway station. From there, you can take the shuttle service to SRM Tech park. The venue is just next to the Tech Park.
If you are arriving by train to Egmore Railway station, take 500 B bus to reach VPT bus stop or Potheri Bus stop. It will take approximately 1 ½ hours. If you take the train to Chengalpattu, you can get down at Potheri railway station.
By Air
The nearest railway station from the Chennai Airport is Thrisulam, located just opposite to the Airport. Get on a train towards Chengalpattu and follow the instructions given above for reaching SRM University. You can take bus (500, 540, 500B, 577) to Tambaram or Chengalpattu from thirsulam.
By Bus
For participants who are reaching Koyambedu Central Bus Terminus, take Mofussil bus numbers 108, 104 or any bus which goes to Villupuram, Thiruvannamalai, Madhuranthagam. Get down at VPT bus stop or Potheri.
2. Accommodation:
a. Hostel(Free on shared basis): Separate hostel accommodation will be provided for female and male. We suggest you to bring your own blanket, mosquito repellents and necessary personal accessories.
b.Guest House: Those who have opted for guest house should pay in person at the reception of guest house.
c.Hotel: Those who have opted for hotel should pay at the respective hotel.
