The 5th Annual Conference on Genetic and Molecular Diagnosis in Modern Medicine will focus on:
- The diagnosis of disorders with a genetic basis using dysmorphology, principles of genetics and laboratory (biochemistry, molecular and cytogenetic) techniques
- Translating basic research to clinical practice
- The role of genetic counseling in the diagnosis and management of these disorders
This four day conference will provide an opportunity for participants to interact and network with national and international clinicians and researchers from various fields - clinical genetics, prenatal diagnosis, cytogenetics, biochemical genetics, molecular genetics, genomics, developmental genetics, and genetic counseling. The conference is scheduled to have lectures on dysmorphology, clinical genetics (congenital and adult disorders), various established and emerging laboratory (biochemical, molecular and cytogenetic) techniques, training genetic counselors, and genetic counseling.
